Viking Spangenhelm, 2 mm steel - Combat Ready

Fully combat-ready reconstruction of a Viking Spangenhelm. This type of helmet was very popular with the Early-Medieval fighters of the north, the Vikings, The Varangians, the Rus and the Normans.

Manufactured from 2 mm thick steel. The four parts of the helmet are welded together and firmly riveted to the lapping buckles. The approx. 4 mm thick nasal is hand-forged as well as the typical eyebrows. The solid manufacturing and the lapping guarantee strength and protection in combat. An adjustable padded liner with two chin-straps from leather and  brass buckle are  riveted into the helmet
