This brass fitting is perfect for all creative DIY projects. Whether used to make a Viking belt or decorate a leather bag or something else there are no limits to what it can be used for.
The original on which this fitting is based dates to the 8th – 11th century and was found in the Swedish Viking settlement of Birka. The brass rivet shows a Nordic motif. There are two 1 cm long pins on the back, which can be used to attach the fitting to a leather belt or bag.
The belt fitting is ideal for your own DIY belt projects or as a replacement/spare part. It fits perfectly with Viking Age costumes and is the ideal accessory for re-enactment, LARP or fancy dress. Not only a great addition to any historical, fictional or fantasy costume, but also a great accessory for modern everyday life.
