Surcoats Cloaks and Coats
Medieval Cloak Two-Toned
Cloaks were an important part of clothing throughout the Middle Ages and were worn by all classes. The cloaks came with and without hoods and in many different lengths and cuts. The cloak protected and warmed the wearer in bad weather. If the cloak didn't offer enough protection, a cowl was worn over the cloak.
This unisex cloak, also known as a wheel cloak or semicircle cloak , is made of cotton and has a large hood. Slits act as armholes and increase comfort. The cloak is fastened with a wooden button and has a contrasting border.
The cotton fabric is not water-repellent, but can be treated with a waterproofing spray to repel light rain.
Please Note: Only the cloak in the pictures is supplied.
