Sword of the Viking King, Windlass
It was not unusual for the Viking kings to lead their troops into battle themselves.
The blade of this Viking sword is made of tempered 1095 carbon steel. The scabbard is covered with leather and imitation reindeer hide and features some elaborate embossing. Its metallic decorative elements are handmade and very detailed, it also has a sword belt.
Made by Windlass Steel crafts.
This sword is designed as a collector's or decoration/display piece and,apart from its quality as a collectible, is is also perfectly suited to be used as a prop, e.g. to complete a costume.
