                                Stiklestad Viking Sword, Windlass

The Battle of Stiklestad was the last battle of St Olaf. The battle was a brutal, bloody and deadly fight, at the end of which the mighty Olaf fell. He became famous for his heroic deeds and was eventually canonised as St. Olaf.

This Viking sword is modelled after a specimen that was used in such a battle. Made from high-carbon steel, the sword is well balanced and the pommel and cross guard are decorated with copper. The wooden grip is covered with suede.

Includes matching wooden scabbard with suede cover.

Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

Please Note that this Sword is designed as a collector’s or decoration/display piece and is not suited for combat re-enactment. Apart from its quality as a collectible, it is also perfectly suited as a prop, e.g. to compliment your costume.
