Small  Leather Wrist Guard with Celtic Triskelion Motif

This high-quality  wrist cuff / bracer has been  crafted from thick, dyed vegetable-tanned leather and lined with soft suede on the inside for optimum comfort.

Riveted onto the bracer is an antique cast brass triple spiral pattern otherwise known as triskelion or triskele which is a popular threefold symbol of life, death and rebirth in Celtic culture.

The bracer is bordered with domed studs and eyelets made of antiqued brass, and supplied with a strong leather cord for lacing.

The armguard has a twin bird motif also made of antiqued cast brass and fastened to the leather with rivets. The two birds are a representation of Odin's faithful messenger ravens Hugin and Munin (or Huginn and Muninn), which are a recurring motif in Celtic and Viking art. In Norse mythology, the ravens fly over Asgard and Midgard and return every evening to the Allfather of the Gods (also referred to as Hrafnáss, the "raven god") to tell him everything they have seen and heard.

Please note that this wristband is sold as a single unit.
