Short Seax with Bone handle
Reconstruction of a typical early medieval short scramaseax, This type of seax was very popular with several Germanic tribes (not only the Saxons).They were not only used as weapons but also as a cutting, edging or curving tool. The guard consists of two sheets made from steel, fixing the decorated horn plate with two rivets. The handle and the pommel are also made from steel.Comes with a brown leather sheath. Blade is semi sharp with a pointed tip.
