Kurzsax with black handle. Reconstruction of a typical Early Medieval
Short Sax Knife. This type of knife was popular with Germanic Tribes.
Not only was it used as a weapon, but also as a cutting, beating or carving tool.
The guard consists of two steel discs to fasten the decorated horn plate
with two rivets. The hilt is also made of steel and the pommel is made of leather.
Blade is semi sharp with a pointed tip.
The knife includes a leather sheath.
