Roman Spatha with Scabbard, 3rd Century
In the 3rd Century the Romans adopted the long and straight double-edged swords of the Germanic people: the Spatha.This replica is based on a Spatha from the 3rd Century AD. The blade has been forged from steel. The hilt is made of bone. The wooden hilt is covered with red leather and finished with authentic brass-fittings.
