Norman Single Handed Sword with Scabbard- SK-B
Norman Single-Hand Sword with scabbard, SK-B
This Norman sword features authentic hilt styling, with a fully tempered un-edged and un-pointed blade, and is made to withstand rugged use while providing the level of safety required by many of today's re-enactment societies.
The grip is permanently mounted and the tang is riveted for safety. The blade is fullered for balance and features 1/16" edges and a rounded tip.
Included is a fibreglass sheath to provide great impact resistance, to eliminate swelling and to minimise blade corrosion problems. The sheath is ornamented with metal fittings and two leather straps for fastening. The wood grain finish is attractive, but is left unfinished for owner customisation.

Please Note:
Our swords referred to as battle-ready or practical are designed to suit the needs of historical re-enactment / stage fighting and to practice swordplay. The extremely brutal impact of cutting edge against cutting edge (or any other hard object) cannot be considered an appropriate use of these swords and may eventually lead to the breaking of the blade. The warranty we offer in such a case only covers material defects (e.g. hairline cracks in the blade or processing faults). It does not apply to damages resulting from a destructive or inappropriate handling of these swords. Please also bear in mind that a practical sword is basically and essentially an item subject to wear and tear.
