Care instructions: Machine wash at 40°C, gentle cycle, not suitable for tumble drying. It is recommended washing the outer and undergarments separately, as otherwise discolouration may occur.

This classic monk's robe is made of a strong cotton fabric (twill weave) and consists of two separate pieces. The natural-coloured undergarment, also called a habit, is floor-length and has a round neckline. The outer robe (also called a scapular) has a generous hood and is fastened with ties at the hips. Both robes can also be worn separately.

The monk's robe is perfect for many occasions. Whether for Medieval representation or historical re-enactment in general, costume parties,  , Halloween, LARP, fantasy, or cosplay - the possible uses of this monk's habit are simply endless.

The design of this monk's habit  is based on the Cistercian habit and consists of a white habit and a black scapular. This habit has been worn by monks and nuns since the Middle Ages and up to the present day. It is an expression of community and poverty. The garment is always floor-length and has long sleeves.

How to order the correct size: 
To determine  size based on your body measurements, please measure horizontally at the fullest part.
For tops, please use your chest measurement as a guide.
If you are between two sizes, it is recommended choosing the larger size.
Comfort allowances are included in the pattern.
