Medieval Slip-Over Shirt Lined, Natural-Coloured
This slip-over shirt is made from durable cotton canvas and is ideal for the portrayal of men of ordinary walks of life such as peasants, craftsmen or fishermen. It can also be worn under a chain mail haubergeon as an alternative to a gambeson.
Handcrafted details such as wooden buttons and sewn piping give the shirt an individual character. The shirt has a button placket, split side seams and piped pockets . The back of the shirt has a straight yoke and is approx. 4 cm longer than the front. The shirt is lined with a light cotton fabric and can also be worn as a jacket.
The shirt is a free interpretation of a Medieval artisan's shirt.
