Leather Torso Armour with Cross Banding

This strong, lightweight torso armour has been crafted from high-quality vegetable-tanned leather. The front is adorned (and reinforced) with two leather bands forming a cross motif at chest level. Strong stitching ensures long-lasting durability.
The chest and back piece have antiqued brass eyelets at the sides and shoulders and are fastened with round leather cords. The back is composed of two panels connected to each other with five leather straps and antiqued brass buckles. The buckle straps are anchored into position with brass rivets. The combination of shoulder/side lacing and back straps makes this fine leather cuirass adjustable to a wide range of sizes.
Owing to its simple elegant design, this leather armour can be used in representation of a broad array of historical and fictional/fantasy characters and is suitable for many time periods. An ideal accessory for Medieval re-enactment, LARP, stage or fancy dress,
