Italian One Hand And A Half Sword, practical blunt SK-B
This sword is based on an Italian longsword from the 15th century. The original can be seen in the Museo Civico L. Mazzoli in the city of Brescia, North Italy. 
The blade originates from a blade-smithy in Passau, South Germany and was mounted with the typical hilt parts of the Italian fashion at that time. Typologically this sword can be classified as Oakeshott type XVIIIa maybe type XVIa. 
Our blunt reconstruction of this late medieval sword is hand forged. The guard and the octagonal pommel are made of heat treated malleable cast iron. The spring-steel blade is oil-tempered up to 48-50° Rockwell, forged to the hilt and screwed with the pommel. The wooden gip is leather bound. The blade has got a distinctive fuller measuring approximately one third of the blade length and offers both flexibility and a lighter weight. The edges of this medieval sword are blunt and the tip is rounded for safety. 
The sword comes with a leather bound wooden scabbard.
