Short Horn Drinking Cup with Wooden Base and Mjolnir

This small cup is handcrafted from genuine horn, polished and engraved with a carving of Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir.
Mjolnir (the grinder or crusher) is the mighty hammer of Thor, the Norse god of thunder and second-highest deity after his father Odin. In Germanic mythology, Mjolnir was forged by the dwarves Brokk and Sindri and, once thrown, would never miss its target. It was with this very hammer that Thor defeated the giants who incessantly threatened the Vanir and the Æsir pantheons. Nowadays, Thor’s Hammer is a popular motif for jewellery, talismans and decorative items. It is also a symbol of paganism within a Christian environment.
This decorative drinking cup is not only ideal for re-enactment purposes, but also for everyday use.
For hygienic reasons, the horn cup is sealed on the inside with a food-safe varnish so that you can enjoy your favourite beer (or mead) to the fullest.

The cup is not calibrated and thus exclusively intended for private use.
Horn cups are not suitable for dishwashers and should be thoroughly cleaned before first (and after each) use with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Do not use harsh cleaning agents that could damage the protective coating.
