Description

Our German Sallet, 1480 AD, battle ready helmet is an authentic copy of a late medieval German sallet 1480 AD. The sallet is hand made from 2 mm steel and is suitable for full contact re-enactment. The original was probably made in Nuremberg, Germany well known for their excellent armourers in medieval times. It is dated around 1480 AD. An elaborate lock fixes the visor.
The helmet is fitted with an adjustable padded liner and a riveted leather chin strap and brass buckle.
