German Paratrooper Steel Helmet M38, Camo Finish
This historically accurate, high-quality reproduction of a Stahlhelm as worn by the Paratroopers (Fallschirmjäger) of the German Luftwaffe in World War II is crafted from 1.2 mm (18 gauge) steel. The surface of the bowl is finished (painted) with a custom three-coloured camo pattern (khaki, green and red) and aged to give it a genuine weathered appearance. The thin, artificially rusted iron wire that surrounds the Wehrmacht helmet makes it more authentic-looking and provides additional camouflage options by attaching leaves or twigs to it.
The interior features a strong leather inner helmet with an aluminium band or ring. A shock-absorbing, 1 cm thick foam padding is fitted between the leather liner and the helmet's shell. The chin strap's particular design and grey colour are also based on the strap of the original WWII German Paratroopers helmet. It has an adjustable buckle and a snap button closure.
The antiqued, fully wearable replica is perfect for any helmet collector, history buff or costume designer in theatre or TV/film.
