Developed with the assistance of Medieval reenactors our T-faced barbute replicates the helmet of the ‘Avant’ armour housed at the Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow and is manufactured using 14 gauge steel. Incorporating an adjustable leather liner and chin strap with authentic buckle the GDFB T-faced barbute is both comfortable and safe. Wear with a padded arming cap for cushioning.
