For our 20th Anniversary we have produced a forged black version of a helm developed with the assistance of Viking re-enactors, the GDFB Spangenhelm, which for 20 years has been popular on the field and in the living history camp. Constructed using 1.6mm (16 gauge) mild steel and incorporating an adjustable leather liner and chin strap with authentic buckle the GDFB Spangenhelm is both comfortable and safe. The nasal is 3mm steel for extra strength. Wear with a padded arming cap for cushioning.
