Embroidered Viking Coat

                                      Embroidered Viking Coat Blue or Red

This Early Medieval Viking coat is made of  cotton canvas and is fully lined. The colourfully embroidered border is modelled on a Celtic knot pattern and is based on the border on the picture stone from Lärbro (Gotland). The coat is cut close to the body and flared towards the hem with mitres (triangles inserted on the sides). Pockets are set into the side seams at hip height. It is recommended to wear a belt with the coat as it is none fastening at the front . 

The look and cut of this coat corresponds to the clothing of the Early Middle Ages in Northern Europe. Combine it with a simple under dress, a strap dress and matching accessories.

 Care instructions: Machine wash at 40C, gentle cycle, do not tumble dry

How to order the correct size:
To determine your clothing size based on your body measurements, please measure horizontally at the widest point. For coats, please use your chest circumference as a guide.
If you are between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size.
Comfort allowances are included in the pattern.
