Galea Roman Legionary Helmet for Children, Steel and Brass
A Roman soldier's helmet (also called galea or cassis) which is a simplified and downsized reproduction of an Imperial Gallic helmet from the 1st / 2nd century AD. Typical features of this particular style of helmet were (among others) the distinctive eyebrows, the frontal reinforcement and the decorative circular brass bosses/rosettes.
This Roman helmet for children is made from steel and has brass fittings. It features hinged cheek pieces, an adjustable liner made of faux leather and a leather chin strap with buckle.
