Our coif is woven using flat rings with domed rivet heads and is woven in the 4 in 1 pattern
The coif covers the neck and shoulders and has an authentic square facial opening. This design of chainmail coif was in use from the Early Middle Ages up to the late Medieval period and was sometimes worn underneath a helmet.
It is recommended that a padded coif is worn under the coif
