A Viking pendant featuring the Midgard Serpent has been inspired by Norse mythology and the distinctive artistic traditions of the Viking Age. At the heart of the design is Jörmungandr, the legendary Midgard Serpent, a gigantic creature said to encircle the world of Midgard. Its sinuous, intertwined form reflects the characteristic use of serpents and other stylised animal motifs in Norse art.

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr is one of the children of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboda. According to the legends, the serpent was cast into the sea and grew to such an enormous size that it eventually encircled the entire world, grasping its own tail. Jörmungandr is particularly closely associated with Thor, the god of thunder. At Ragnarök, the two are destined to meet in a final battle, making the Midgard Serpent one of the most recognisable and powerful creatures of Norse mythology.

The pendant depicts a curving, intricately intertwined serpent within a circular frame. The flowing lines and symmetrical composition give the piece a distinctive Nordic appearance, while the small circular details add further visual depth. Made from durable bronze and finished with an antique patina, the pendant has a warm, aged appearance reminiscent of historical metalwork.

The pendant comes with a leather cord, Its distinctive design also makes it an attractive accessory for everyday wear by adding a subtle touch of Norse mythology and historical character.

The specifications above may vary slightly from one piece to another.
