Our Dagged Aventail is to fix to a helmet such as a Houndskull or Visored Bascinet. The aventail  is made from blackened, 1.6mm strong, butted steel rings. The chainmail dagged aventail is furnished with a strong, approx. 4.5 cm wide leather strip at the top edge where you can pierce the leather for fixing to the helmet. The Aventail completley covers the shoulders.
