North Italian Bellows Face Sallet, battle ready . Authentic and fully battle ready reconstruction of a late medieval North Italian bellows face sallet, probably made by north Italian armourers around 1490 A.D. This helmet differs from other sallets because of the very unique shape of the visor, the so called bellow face visor.
Hand-beaten out of 2 mm steel, the helmet features a movable klappvisor made from 1.6 mm steel.
The helmet is fitted with an adjustable padded liner and a riveted leather chin strap and brass buckle.
