Authentic replica of an Early Medieval Axe Head used by the Vikings or Slavs. The blade of the axe head has been hand forged from high quality carbon steel. The manner of its making, as well as the steel strength make it perfect for battle reenactment. The cutting edge is blunt and the edges rounded, in order to avoid damage to opponents weapons and armour as much as possible.
The blade has not been polished to a shine , in order to leave an authentic, rustic look to the metal. Shaft is not included.
