Scabbards
15th Century Scabbard Tooled with Full Buckle set
The late 14th Century suspension evolved to the iconic 15th Century 3
point suspension, somewhere around the early 1400’s.
This is the style worn during the Battle of Tewkesbury and the Wars of
the Roses
My scabbards follow this style, with an authentic wood core covered in
leather, with integrated belts and a brass chape and buckles
Scabbards are individually crafted in England to fit your individual
sword. I am happy to work from dimensions, so do not need your
sword.
The example tooled diamond core scabbard in the picture with brass
chape and full buckle set would be £550 plus post made to fit your
sword in your choice of colour
A plain, untooled version, in your choice of colour, would be £400 plus
post.
