11th Century Viking Sword with leather scabbard, practical blunt SK-B
Reproduction of a Late Viking single handed sword from the 11th C.
It is hand made and the guard and pommel are forged out of heat-treated malleable cast iron. The spring-steel blade is oil-tempered up to 48-50° Rockwell and hand-riveted to the pommel. The hilt is leather bound. The blade has a distinctive fuller which offers flexibility and a lighter weight. The edges of the blade are blunt and the tip is rounded for safety.
The wooden scabbard has been leather bound and has two straps with buckles
