Embroidered Viking Coat Wine Red / Petrol Blue

This Early Medieval Viking coat is made in a canvas cotton fabric and is fully lined. The colourfully embroidered border has a Celtic knot pattern which has been based on the border on the picture stone from Labro (Gotland). The coat is cut close to the body and flared towards the hem with mitres (triangles inserted on the sides). Pockets are set into the side seams at hip height. This coat does not fasten which is why it is recommended to wear a belt. The elaborate design and the colour-contrasting details make this coat very eye-catching.
The look and cut of this coat corresponds to the clothing of the Early Middle Ages in Northern Europe. Combine it with a simple under dress, a strap dress and matching accessories and you have a pleasing outfit for a Viking woman.
